Product Introduction:
The Lutensol AO series is a line of specialized functional nonionic surfactants produced by BASF. These products are synthesized from medium-length C13–C15 alcohol chains and ethylene oxide. They deliver outstanding performance in oil removal, cleaning, and emulsification.

This series offers a solution for applications requiring low COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand). All products in the range have a critical micelle concentration (CMC) below 0.02 g/L, meaning only a small amount is needed to achieve effective emulsification and cleaning. Due to their exceptional efficiency and low dosage, they contribute significantly to reducing COD values.

Lutensol AO11 is a soft, colorless paste.

Product Applications:
Lutensol AO11 is used in high-performance cotton scouring agents.
It exhibits excellent alkali resistance (>100 g/L NaOH, 24 hours) and maintains an ultra-low CMC (0.017 g/L) even with a high degree of ethoxylation. With the longest branched isomer chain in its class, it is particularly suitable for emulsifying specially structured silicone oils and formulating degreasing agents.
