Guangdong Tiancheng Biotechnology Co., Ltd. was established in 1996 as a limited liability company initiated by the Guangdong Institute of Microbiology. For over 20 years, the company has specialized in the research, development, production, and sales of antimicrobial agents, preservatives, antifungal & antialgal agents, natural food preservatives, fermented feed, and fermented feed protein, among other biochemical products.

The company’s headquarters and R&D center are located in the Innovation Building of the Guangdong Academy of Sciences Institute of Microbiology, while its production base and pilot workshop are situated in the Biotechnology and Industrialization Development Base of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) Guangzhou Branch and Guangdong Academy of Sciences, as well as the Zhaoqing Dawang National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. The facilities are equipped with modern production and R&D capabilities, ensuring a complete foundation for the commercialization and industrialization of research achievements.

Since its inception, the company has undertaken and led multiple scientific research and development projects funded by the Guangdong Academy of Sciences, CAS Guangzhou Branch, Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Yuexiu District Science and Technology Bureau, with remarkable results.

In 2004 and 2008, the company was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise (Certificate No.: GR200844000311) by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science & Technology, Finance Department, and Tax Bureau. In 2005, its R&D project on "High-Efficiency, Broad-Spectrum Antifungal & Antialgal Agents" won the Third Prize of Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Award. Additionally, its products "Water-Based Antifungal Agents and Antifungal & Antialgal Agents" were designated as Guangdong Provincial Key New Products by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2005 and 2009.
